Small place good taste and choice, recommend this

I am so glad that we decided to check out this restaurant!! We went during late afternoon hours and the place was empty. Tyler took us to our table and gave us the low down on the menu. My husband got the recommended Reuben sandwich with onion rings and loved it! I got the pretzels with beer cheese appetizer, absolutely delicious!! And the taco salad, again, delicious!! Prices were reasonable, service was wonderful and food delicious!! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great Find

Traveling home from Spring Break the only criteria for dinner we could agree on was somewhere "fun."  This fit the bill perfectly and not far off I-65.  Great ambiance, large selection of beer and great service.  Our server told us it was only his 3rd day but not only did he do good, another server jumped in and assisted if he was unavailable.  Great teamwork! The food ranged from excellent to average.  The fish and chips with the jalepeno tartar sauce are some of the best fish and chips I have ever had.  My daughter said the same about the spicy black bean burger.  My son said his burger was good but my husband was disappointed in his chili. It wasn&apos;t bad but completely average.  Could have been Wendys chili.  I tried it to confirm.  He chose it because the menu made a big deal about it being made from scratch but - eh.  He was disappointed.  Luckily, my fish and chips were so large he was able to have some of that and overall it still averaged out to 5 stars.

Fun stop for a meal with good food

Sooo good we went there 3 times in 3 days. Front desk people are very friendly!!! Day one we hid underground at the bar as the tornado sirens were going off and felt very safe as we sipped our delicious cocktails and ate dinner.  Day two we went back for cocktails and dessert...salted caramel pretzel bites are to die for. Day three back to the bar for an old fashioned and fried pickles. We recommend the beer cheese burger and the Fleur de lis dip. The fried chicken sandwich and the Troll fries.

Trolling

I had read about the interesting history of this building and restaurant before going to Louisville and it looked like a unique place for lunch for 3 couples. The restaurant is located underground and I recommend taking a few minutes to stick your head into the nooks and crannies of the place. We were seated quickly and the service was efficient.  Two of us like to try local beers when we are out of town so it was disappointing when we were informed that two of the drafts we wanted to sample were unavailable. We were in a bit of a hurry (had to get to our distillery tour) and the waitress did an excellent job making sure our food arrived quickly. Everyone was satisfied with our lunches and the portions were a nice size for the price. The Frickles, the chili and the Italian Grinder drew rave reviews from our group.

Unique Lunch Spot

This was a decently fun place! My wife and I were in town with some friends and we stopped in here for a drink. It was a busy Saturday night, but we found some space at the bar and grabbed some drinks. The beer selection was decent and I had a Zombie Dust, which is always a favorite. My wife had a berry cocktail and she enjoyed her drink as well. The pub is fairly large, so there&apos;s room for people to dine as well as have a drink at the bar and we&apos;d come here again!
